YouTube believes everyone should have a chance to be discovered, build a business and succeed on their own terms, and that people - not gatekeepers - decide what’s popular.
They wanted to show some prominent people how the platform can amplify the voice of new artists - building their careers, breaking new ground, and reaching people around the world.
So what did we do? We put on an intimate, three-hour, unplugged gig for a select group of guests, with a lineup as diverse, engaging and accessible as YouTube itself. With only 6 weeks from concept to delivery, we transformed a derelict building in the centre of Brussels into an unique event space that embodied the brand.
The evening featured live performances from European artists and performers who built their careers on YouTube, alongside global stars who use the platform to amplify their global reach, showing how YouTube helps people come together around shared interests and passions.
Agency and stakeholder integration
